A trip to Euskadi, guitars, a recorder, that's the way we created this new band.
Gernika is a very important town in euskadian history. There were killed lots of people during the Civil War. The Nazis attacked Gernika. It's when we visited town we created this song and the lyrics so we could remember a dead friend and comrade, killed by fascists in the streets of Paris years ago. It's not only his death that remain in this song. Because there are some days we stay sleeping...
lyrics
Gernika (Troidigezh e saozneg / Translation in English)
There're some days, There're some days I stay sleeping
It hurts me sometimes to see how the world goes on
It hurts me sometimes to hear stupidities that are said
It hurts me sometimes to think when we don't think anymore
It hurts me though I don't see the end.
There're some days, There're some days I stay sleeping
It hurts me sometimes to think we're forgetting your face
It hurts me sometimes to think about you Clem
It hurts me sometimes to move when you don't move anymore
It hurts me though I don't see the end
There're some days, There're some days I stay sleeping
